Involvement
Well, I did try again. I wrote to a certain Marko, an economics student from Zagreb, following his invitation to join the Monday Critical Mass rally. I get these because I am subscribed to this Discrepancy, a sociology students' circular mail list. They mostly talk bullshit.
And as I cleverly explained to M., it seems quite silly to me for some third-rate quasi-journalist to document a walk through the city to his uninformed readers who gulp down one of two same, insipid papers in Croatia.
He also asked for my suggestion so I tentatively asked them to ask the Government to formulate their foreign policy. (Did I talk how I believe in backbones?) I also excused myself if such a document existed and I was simply unaware but expressed my doubts.
Anyway, I watched the main newsreel a month ago and the topic was economic cooperation with Kazhastan. It seems our President is willing to do that, the deal according to him depending upon 'economic, ecological and political decisions.' Really? - is my reply.
Let us hope Marko is different. Or, as I once joked, let us hope he is beautiful otherwise.
