Image Rediscovered: The Clown

In the end, everything ends up as a joke: ridiculous public speeches, the outrageously funny movements of our bodies during sex or how our own big brain plays tricks on us.

I read the other day a quote of just how fortunate it is to be able to embrace your race through a friend.
But that ends up a joke as well. Just how much a dog we are acquainted with, never mind his sharp jaw, is delighted to see us, while we tremble at other ones! While on the other hand, there's the famous anecdote bout the scorpio that bites because it is in its nature to bite.

But as any sick man will tell you - extreme states of illness are a wonderful occasion for introspection. I remember being in hospital, listening to Cockney Rebel's Come Up and See Me.. (To Make Me Smile).

To breathe, perchance to giggle, no more..
